Born on September 24, 1948, in Augusta, Linda was the daughter of Dorothy (Treattau) Brown and Harvey Chute. Later in life, she was adopted by her stepfather, Malcolm Brown. Growing up, Linda spent much of her childhood in Vassalboro, where she still has family. She graduated from Cony High School in 1966, marking the beginning of a journey filled with achievements and love.
Linda was a woman of many talents. She possessed a gift for sewing and spent her early years working in her mother’s shop, crafting beautiful bridal gowns. As she embarked on her professional journey, Linda transitioned into the real estate industry. She worked as an appraiser for the Maine Department of Transportation before establishing her own businesses, specializing in real estate appraisals and income tax preparation.
In 1988, Linda found the love of her life, Roger Morin, whom she married. Together, they shared countless precious moments with their children and grandchildren. Summers spent at the lake were especially cherished, as Linda and Roger enjoyed the tranquility of nature surrounded by their loved ones. Their home was filled with warmth and love, and they opened their hearts to two adopted children, expanding their family with boundless affection.
Linda’s passing is mourned by her husband Roger and her children: Lisa Stengle (Tom), Glenn Brown (Rae), Heidi Pelczar (AJ), Richard Morin (Kristin), Brandy Lufkin, and Tyler Webb (Corin). She is also remembered fondly by her grandchildren: Jordan, Gabe, Abby, William, Jack, Michael, Cameron, Hailey, Dakota, and Elliott. Additionally, Linda is survived by her sisters Susan and Kathy, her brother Paul (Rusty), and her dear friend Roland.
