Growing up alongside his brother, Jordan, and their beloved dogs, Molly and Owen, Jaiden experienced the joys of childhood in a loving family environment. His upbringing instilled in him a deep appreciation for life’s simple pleasures and a sense of responsibility towards others.
On October 7, 2016, Jaiden married his high school sweetheart, Nicole Skinner, in a ceremony filled with love and promise. Together, they embarked on a journey that would take them to various corners of the world, creating memories and experiences that would shape their lives forever.
Following his intuition and a desire to serve his country, Jaiden made the bold decision to join the Air Force after graduating from high school. With unwavering dedication and a strong work ethic, he excelled in his military career, earning numerous awards and accolades for his exemplary service.
During his time in the Air Force, Jaiden and Nicole had the opportunity to live in Okinawa, Japan, immersing themselves in a new culture and embracing new adventures. From exploring historic sites to indulging in local cuisine, they made the most of their time abroad, forging unforgettable memories along the way.
After completing his service in the Air Force, Jaiden and Nicole settled in Duluth, Minnesota, where they embarked on a new chapter of their lives. With a passion for renovation and a keen eye for design, Jaiden poured his heart and soul into transforming their fixer-upper house into a warm and inviting home.
Their family was completed by the addition of their cherished pets, Oaklyn and Montana, and their beloved cat, Mollo. Jaiden’s love for animals was evident in the joy and companionship he shared with his furry friends, who brought warmth and laughter to their home.
A man of deep empathy and understanding, Jaiden had a gift for connecting with others on a profound level. Whether it was through a meaningful conversation, a comforting hug, or a simple smile, he had a way of making people feel seen and valued.
In his professional life, Jaiden worked at Stride Paratransit, where he made a positive impact on the lives of those he served. His genuine compassion and willingness to lend a helping hand left a lasting impression on his colleagues and clients alike.
Outside of work, Jaiden was an avid nature enthusiast who found solace and inspiration in the great outdoors. From off-grid camping trips to hiking in National Forests, he cherished every opportunity to immerse himself in the beauty of the natural world.
Jaiden was also a talented artist who expressed his creativity through woodworking. His intricate designs and craftsmanship reflected his passion for craftsmanship and his ability to turn raw materials into works of art.
In addition to his love for nature and art, Jaiden had a deep appreciation for cars, particularly his prized possession, a red Volkswagen R32 named Valerie. His love for cars was more than just a hobby; it was a reflection of his passion for craftsmanship and his appreciation for the beauty of design.
Described by those who knew him as “lightning in a bottle,” Jaiden’s vibrant spirit and zest for life were contagious. He approached every day with optimism and enthusiasm, spreading joy and positivity wherever he went.
Jaiden is survived by his loving wife, Nicole; devoted parents, Aaron and Tonya; caring brother, Jordan; adoring nephew, Elliott; beloved dogs, Oaklyn and Montana; cherished cat, Mollo; and grandparents from both sides of the family.
A Celebration of Life for Jaiden Allen Michael Pick will be held from 4:00-8:00 p.m. on Thursday, March 7, 2024, at the Williams Dingmann Family Funeral Home in Sauk Rapids, Minnesota. Burial will take place at the Minnesota State Veterans Cemetery near Little Falls at a later date.
