Jackson departed this world on February 28, 2024, at the tender age of 22, leaving behind a legacy of love and cherished memories.

Born in Washington, District of Columbia, Jackson spent his formative years surrounded by the love and support of his family. He was the cherished son of Amy Bright Palmer and Mike “Mikey” Palmer, and a loving brother to Jakob Palmer. Jackson’s warm and vibrant personality endeared him to all who knew him, and his untimely departure has left a void in the hearts of his family and friends.

Jackson was not just a son and brother; he was a loyal friend and confidant to many. His infectious laughter and genuine kindness touched the lives of all who crossed his path. One of his closest friends, Katie Graybeal from Logan, Utah, fondly remembers their shared laughter and countless adventures together. Jackson’s presence brought joy and light into the lives of those around him, and his memory will forever be cherished by his family, friends, and loving relatives.

In addition to his immediate family, Jackson was deeply loved and cherished by his grandparents: Michael Palmer, Theresa Palmer, James Bright, and Carolyn Bright. He was also a beloved nephew to Allison Bright Neely and Clem Neely, and a cherished cousin to Luke and Grayson of Paola, KS. In remembrance of Jackson’s life, a funeral mass will be held on Friday, March 8th, 2024, at 11:00 AM at the St. John Bosco Roman Catholic Church, located at 315 N Main St, Woodstock, VA 22664. Family, friends, and members of the community are invited to join in honoring Jackson’s memory and celebrating the impact he had on all of our lives.

As we mourn the loss of Jackson, we also find solace in the memories we shared and the love he brought into our lives. In recognition of the Lenten season, the family kindly requests that donations be made to St. John Bosco Catholic Church, located at 315 N Main St, Woodstock, VA 22664. These donations will be used to have masses said for the repose of Jackson’s soul, honoring his memory and ensuring that he is forever remembered in our prayers.
