Lucky’s spirit of service led him to proudly serve in the U.S. Navy from 1965 to 1971. His dedication to his country reflected his strong sense of duty and honor. He served with pride, embodying the values of bravery and commitment that define the noble tradition of military service.
Beyond his military career, Lucky was known for his unwavering devotion to his family. A devoted husband to his wife Belinda “Sissy” Lanphier for 41 memorable years, Lucky shared a bond of love and companionship that was a source of strength and joy to both of them. His love knew no bounds, and he cherished every moment spent with his beloved wife.
Lucky’s role as a father was central to his life, and he embraced it with boundless love and dedication. His children, Jamie Mayhew, Diane Coleman, Max Lanphier, Brandi Mayhew, and Tammy LaBelle, were the center of his world.
